With more than 2,600 hotels and guesthouses providing almost 100,000 beds, accommodation in Blackpool is big business, extremely competitive and usually extremely good value for money. Accommodation varies from four-star luxury hotels along Blackpool's seafront, to more homely and family run bed and breakfasts. The town is also home to a wealth of self-catering accommodation and a number of large caravan parks.
The town's Tourist Information Centre (TIC) contains a range of information about accommodation in Blackpool, including a useful guide to specifically gay-friendly hotels, many of which are concentrated inland and close to the North Station.
To one side of the North Pier, Glynn Avenue is also worth noting and is a particularly peaceful spot, with popular accommodation including the Austen, the Bramleigh and the Haldene hotels.
